GTI saw US domestic uranium supply collapse and anticipated the surge in demand for clean energy solutions. This led us to position GTI to be at the leading edge, to respond targeting ISR mining – a low-cost and environmentally friendly method of uranium mining.
What is Insitu Recovery (ISR) Mining?
ISR is arguably the lowest cost and lowest impact way to mine uranium. GTI is aiming to defining ISR amenable uranium resources in Wyoming. GTI’s Wyoming uranium strategy positions us to define uranium resources that can potentially be developed cheaper, faster, and with lower environmental impact than many hard rock mining projects.
OUR PROJECTS.
The key driver of value creation is to define economically viable uranium resources. GTI’s flagship Lo Herma ISR Uranium Project (Lo Herma) has so far delivered Inferred resources of 5.71Mlbs U₃O₈ and is located in Converse County, Powder River Basin (PRB), Wyoming (WY). The Project lies approximately 15 miles north of the town of Glenrock and within ~100 miles of seven (7) permitted ISR uranium production facilities. In addition, GTI is working towards development of a viable resource at the Thor ISR Uranium Project in Wyoming’s prolific Great Divide Basin (GDB).
